I would like two say two things before I write this blog. One thing is why is Cyrus chilling with 5 guys, that’s pretty weird, and second of all why isn’t the Asian guy defending his rights, but instead he’s just standing there looking helpless. Referring to what Miley Cyrus said and what the press said about the picture, it’s pretty clear what Miley Cyrus was doing, and it isn’t just making a goofy face like she stated. Cyrus said that the whole group were just making silly faces for the picture, and it looks like the whole group except for the actual Asian guy are either squinting or stretching the corner of their eyes. She also says “it seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me”, but really it was something to basically whole Asian society which were really discriminated. If you look at the Asian guy in the picture it seemed that he wasn’t really excited about the picture which made it ruder because your friend is Asian.
ABC news basically wrote a whole article about the success of Miley Cyrus and how great she has been so far, until this picture kind of ruined it for her by showing that Miley Cyrus is racist. The OCA- A group “dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans” is fuming at this photo at Miley at pals for using for what they have deemed an offensive, stereotyping gesture. "OCA hopes that Miley Cyrus will apologize to her fans and the APA community for this lapse in judgment and takes the opportunity to better understand why the gesture is offensive."After a while i saw a video on YouTube that said that Miley Cyrus is being sued 4 billion dollars for discriminating the Asian Community by the Chinese Government, well all i have to say is, Miley you really dropped the ball on that one.
